브랭섬홀아시아 동문 네트워크(BHA Alumni Network)가 브랭섬홀아시아 학부모를 위한 온라인 커뮤니티 '학부모 라운지(Parents Lounge)'를 공식 오픈했다.
학부모 라운지는 입학을 준비하는 학부모부터 재학생, DP 과정 및 해외 대학 입시를 준비하는 가정까지 다양한 학부모들이 함께 정보를 나누고 경험을 공유할 수 있도록 마련된 독립 커뮤니티이다.
커뮤니티에서는 해외 대학 입시 정보, IB 과정 가이드, IB 점수 계산기, 학교생활 가이드, 학부모 Q&A, 멘토 연결 프로그램 등 학교생활 전반에 도움이 되는 다양한 콘텐츠와 서비스를 제공한다.
특히 미국·영국·캐나다·홍콩 등 주요 해외 대학 지원 전략과 졸업생들의 실제 경험을 공유하는 콘텐츠는 물론, PYP·MYP·DP, TOK, EE, IA 등 IB 교육과정을 쉽게 이해할 수 있도록 구성된 자료도 함께 제공된다.
또한 학부모들은 질문과 답변을 통해 서로의 경험을 공유하고, 필요한 경우 선배 학부모 및 동문과 연결되어 실질적인 조언을 받을 수 있다.
브랭섬홀아시아 동문 네트워크 관계자는 "학교생활과 대학 입시를 준비하는 과정에서 공식 안내만으로 해결하기 어려운 부분들이 있다"며 "학부모와 동문들의 실제 경험을 공유함으로써 다음 세대 가족들에게 도움이 되는 커뮤니티를 만들어가고자 한다"고 밝혔다.
한편, 학부모 라운지는 브랭섬홀아시아 동문 네트워크가 운영하는 독립 커뮤니티로, 브랭섬홀아시아의 공식 웹사이트나 공식 커뮤니티가 아니며 학교의 승인·후원·제휴를 받은 서비스는 아니다. 커뮤니티에서 제공되는 정보는 실제 경험을 바탕으로 작성되며, 학교 정책 및 학사 제도와 관련된 사항은 학교의 공식 안내를 함께 확인할 것을 권장하고 있다.

The BHA Alumni Network has officially introduced the BHA Parents Lounge, a new online community created exclusively for parents of Branksome Hall Asia students.
The platform brings together practical resources, shared experiences, and peer support to help families navigate school life, the International Baccalaureate (IB) programme, and overseas university admissions.
The BHA Parents Lounge serves as an independent platform where parents preparing for admission, current BHA families, and those navigating the IB Diploma Programme and university admissions process can exchange information, ask questions, and learn from shared experiences.
The community offers a wide range of resources, including university admissions guidance, comprehensive IB resources, an IB score calculator, school life guides, parent discussion forums, and mentorship opportunities with experienced parents and alumni.
Parents can access practical information on overseas university applications—including the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Hong Kong—as well as easy-to-understand guides covering the PYP, MYP, DP, TOK, EE, and IA.
In addition to educational resources, the platform encourages meaningful discussions among parents and provides opportunities to connect with alumni and experienced families for advice on school life, the IB programme, and university admissions.
According to the BHA Alumni Network, the Parents Lounge was created with a simple goal: to help future families benefit from the experiences of those who have already been through the journey.
